A: Depends on how much money you have, really. No one can give you an exact number, but for the most part you don’t want to put too much horsepower in a Front Wheel Drive car because it will torque steer like crazy and would pretty much be useless for day to day driving as well as racing.
I’m sure after spending $30,000 or so on a professional turbocharger, engine tune, and other stuff, you can get 600 bhp from a Toyota 4-cylinder.
But if you are hardcore, you should do something like Tanner Foust’s Scion tC. Convert the car to rear wheel drive and stick a TRD NASCAR Camry engine in it.
Again, it’s all up to the amount of money you have.

A: Just go to the nearest junkyard, you can usually find a similar model and find that part. Price is good, and fun too to just wonder around the big playground full of different cars.

A: The pink stuff from Toyota has a “low sulfate” content in it. This is to prevent corrosion and cavitation in the water jackets. I would suggest that you continue to use the “pink stuff” from Toyota. It will result in longer engine life and less hastles in the long run.
Do not mix it with the “green stuff”. They are not compatible.
If you decide you want to put the green stuff in your Toyota, make sure you flush the system completely. Like I said… you would be better off with the Pink stuff… It was designed to have that in it and it will make any part that is contacted by coolant last longer. Ask the guys at the Toyota Parts counter to show you what happens to a water pump with the green stuff in it. They will have a pamphlet on it…

I have a 1984 Toyota Celica GT and i need a new stereo. I’ve looked around on eBay and such but I can’t find a dash install kit that is guaranteed to work on my car.
A: I don’t remember there being a need to use a dash kit in that car. It should be ISO mounted. Meaning, no kit, you use the original brackets that are connected to the factory radio. There should be two of these brackets. You mount them to the new radio in the holes on the side so that they line up to your model and then mount the whole thing back in the dash and replace the dash trim panel.
